Our first StairClimb for Clean Air event!

The Lung Association, Alberta & NWT needs YOU to be a part of Edmonton’s newest & most unique event of 2013.

On March 10, we are hosting our inaugural StairClimb for Clean Air event sponsored by Boardwalk Rental Communities. Yes, firsts are usually awkward and uncomfortable, but this first is going to be better. It’s going to be exciting and it’s going to be fabulous. We are modeling our event on the experts, BC Lung Association, who are about to host their twelfth annual StairClimb for Clean Air.

StairClimb for StairClimb2013Blue (Custom)Clean Air benefits our vision of healthy lungs and clean air so we can all breathe easier. This new and unique Edmonton event sets itself apart from ordinary runs or walks by getting Albertans to step up with a 20 story marathon climb.

Emcees Ryan Jespersen from Breakfast Television on CityTV Edmonton and Kari Skelton from The Wake Up! Show on Up! 99.3 FM will be there to cheer you on, along with live rocking DJ entertainment and great fun family activities.

The StairClimb for Clean Air welcomes people of all ages and all athletic levels to step up for lung health and to raise awareness in Alberta. Prizes for speed, fundraising and best costumes will be handed out. Whether you race to the top to win or just come for the thrill of the climb, everyone will end up a winner.  Sign up with your peeps as a team to compete or just to share the fun.

A $35 registration fee is all it takes to join. Climbers 16 and over are asked to raise a minimum of $125 in pledges. Children and youth participating in the climb are asked to raise $60 in support.  Everyone who comes to climb or to cheer their team on will experience family fun filled activities and a high energy experience that you won’t soon forget.
